One week before delivery the pregnant dog will be accustomed with the delivery basket.
The dog will be permanently observed to see when the delivery is starting.
Our collie puppies are born under observation in the delivery room and spent their first 4 weeks with their mother. The weight is noted right after delivery. Weight gain is controlled by daily weighing.
Routine contact to the family is the basis for good development. They will become social and are well prepared for their future live.
The first check up by a breeding controller is done in the 2nd week.
With a little magic word for each litter the puppies will always remember us.

Development of the character begins in the very early stages.
Hygiene has highest priority!
As soon as the puppies become more active, about in the 4. week, they can go outside in the garden with their mother. There the puppies can learn a lot from the mother.
After the 2. check up by the breeding controller of the DCC in the 8th week the puppies are vaccinated and receive the EU pass with a microchip(registered at Tasso). Then they can move to their new home.

We only have 1-2 litters per year. Every litter is special. Time passes too quickly with our babies and it is hard to say goodbye to them.
